Goth LupinHello"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."-Franklin D. Roosevelt This JournalCreativity"Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can't get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you're doing. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover will be yourself."-Alan Alda My WebsitesAffirmative"Courage, in the final analysis, is nothing but an affirmative answer to the shocks of existence."-Kurt Goldstein Thursday, December 23, 2010Tuesday, April 14, 200910:57PM - Writer's Block: Looking BackMy first entry from Sept 2003 was"Brand New This is the first entry. Your time machine is the Phone Booth. For you, History is fixed and unchanging. But this is a actually very, very good thing. It means that you are free to mess around all you want without worrying about accidentally changing the wrong thing and permanently removing Oreo cookies from all existence. Sure, once in a while you'll be called upon to save the universe or defeat a villain or two, but there's nothing that says you can't do it in the silliest and most amusingly contrived manner you can think of. That they actually con people into respecting them is leaving me in disbelief. Current mood: amusedSaturday, January 13, 20076:16AMWow and spiffy amazing: the police found a kid who's been missing since Monday and the news broke last evening. This is a thirteen year-old named Ben Ownby. But that's not the end of good news! A kid who's been missing since October 2002 was found in the same apartment where the first boy was. Both he and Shawn Hornbeck were in Kirkwood on a street that I know where it is. The suspect who kidnapped them worked at an Imo's that I know where it is too. I lived in Kirkwood and went to high school there for a few years even if I graduated from Webster Groves. Current mood: surprisedThursday, January 11, 20073:24AM - Nice January so far, knock on woodAside from joining a new multi-fandom rp, where I play two characters I've never tried before, I also ordered the Monty Python Mega-ton DVD set. Cool. Look forward to watching it and making some screen caps too. I am rping an old fandom, Doctor Who, via Doctor 8 (it was a final choice between him and 3 after considering for a while which one I wanted to portray) and a new fandom, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children by playing Cloud Strife. It was either him, Reno or Kadaj I was most interesting in rping. Current mood: chipperMonday, January 8, 2007Monday, January 1, 2007Navigate: (Previous 20 entries) |
