Hello"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
Creativity"Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can't get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you're doing. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover will be yourself."
Affirmative"Courage, in the final analysis, is nothing but an affirmative answer to the shocks of existence."

10:57PM - Writer's Block: Looking Back
This is the first entry. We'll see where this goes."
And where this is going- I'm in the process of moving to another journal again. Gothlupin is my second main on LJ. So you're asking this at an interesting time for me, blogwise at any rate! I guess this means not much has changed because I'm moving LJ's again or something like that? </beingsilly>

4:20PM - Spring Migration
house journal to sunnybank.
Why yes, I might even get out into the sunshine once in a while. Viewing creativity from alongside the lake with bees gently droning in the light can be as inspirational as the silver moon reflecting off the midnight water.
Forget Inuyasha. I like Lord Sesshomaru.
I wonder if the trash talk then fight sequence is common in anime? The God of Wolves called Inuyasha a mutt then said something like "No, that's an insult to dogs." Which is how I occasionally think, using an insult and then saying but using said insult for the person or thing I don't like insults the insult. Huh? WTF?
I realised from writing my first post for Doctor Ten that I lurve him. I always liked him, the hyper crazy ruthless bloke but now he's in my top three faves of 3, 8, 10. But those are my favourites only if someone absolutely has to know because I like them all. Sure some will be further up the list the same way I like some of my own characteristics better than others. My so-called second tier of faves then would be 2, 4, 5, 9 with a nod to 1. There's nothing wrong with 6 and 7, save for the destruction wrought upon the show by the producers or whatever the frig was going on with them at that time.
I have always liked Jo Grant and will enjoy playing her. Great opening from Jules rping Three. Gotta love Bessie. Hmmm, she was yellow like bananas... ah I understand now.
My rping the SHM as reunited and looking most like Yazu has led to some interesting, unexpected developments. Need to think more about that.

Your result for The Time Travel Test...
The Phone Booth
50% Practicality, 50% Mutability, 0% NaziLoving Wuss, 65% Woowoo?
Your time machine is the Phone Booth.
For you, History is fixed and unchanging. But this is a actually very, very good thing. It means that you are free to mess around all you want without worrying about accidentally changing the wrong thing and permanently removing Oreo cookies from all existence. Sure, once in a while you'll be called upon to save the universe or defeat a villain or two, but there's nothing that says you can't do it in the silliest and most amusingly contrived manner you can think of.
If you liked this test, you might be interested in trying out The Martian Personality Test as well.

You Are Sudoku
You are simple, modern and elegant.
You're not that difficult to figure out, but very few people truly get you.
You approach the world with a pure logic that most people will never grasp.

6:35AM - So Seriously Squicked
Some politicians are such hypocrits I don't even want to mention their names in my blog because they'll sully my own private corner of the net. That they actually con people into respecting them is leaving me in disbelief.
Having an affair while trying to get the president impeached for his wrongdoing doesn't make a hypocrit because the pres lied to a judge and that's why you wanted him impeached. Yeah, right. A certain arsehole wouldn't lie to a judge, uh-huh sure.

Tough times never last. Tough people do.
- Robert Schuller
I enjoyed watching "The Chronicles of Narnia" and I took far more screen caps of it than I thought I would. Interesting how the part at the beginning where the siblings are sent out of London to be safe from the bombing broke my heart. I'm not too emotional about films in general and I have done some research about that time period but it was quite the reaction.
So I haven't seen as much of the Pythons as I want to because of this and Bill having checked "Holy Grail" out from the library too. But I'll get to it (enjoyably) as well as resuming my Holmes-watching.
Doctor Who! Just had to type it.

Wow and spiffy amazing: the police found a kid who's been missing since Monday and the news broke last evening. This is a thirteen year-old named Ben Ownby. But that's not the end of good news! A kid who's been missing since October 2002 was found in the same apartment where the first boy was. Both he and Shawn Hornbeck were in Kirkwood on a street that I know where it is. The suspect who kidnapped them worked at an Imo's that I know where it is too. I lived in Kirkwood and went to high school there for a few years even if I graduated from Webster Groves.
And I hope this weather doesn't pull us into the suck of no power again. The forecast was for icy precip all weekend, off and on.
Something which pisses me off: I ran only a partial virus scan on my laptop and it found 9 of the bloody things. One it wasn't even able to remove nor quarantine so I don't know what it's doing. Probably spying on my surfing as I don't notice anything which seems bad happening to the comp itself. Looks like if I want to get rid of this one, I'll have to backup my important files and re-install. So I'll see what happens.

Aside from joining a new multi-fandom rp, where I play two characters I've never tried before, I also ordered the Monty Python Mega-ton DVD set. Cool. Look forward to watching it and making some screen caps too. I am rping an old fandom, Doctor Who, via Doctor 8 (it was a final choice between him and 3 after considering for a while which one I wanted to portray) and a new fandom, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children by playing Cloud Strife. It was either him, Reno or Kadaj I was most interesting in rping.
Oh for fun!
